Tactile Switches are a type of switch that employ a ‘bump’ to create feedback for the user when the switch is being actuated.
Tactile switches can vary in the type of ‘bump’ (harsh or rounded) and the location of the bump within the switch (at the top or in the middle). This isn’t black and white, subtle difference in all these factors makes the variety of Tactile Switches very large. Spring weight also plays a large role in how the ‘tactile bump’ feels.
